Who needs to be genetically screened for cancer risk?

Hereditary cancer

The presence of the following in an individual or family history raises the possibility of inherited cancer:

-Cancer diagnosis at a young age

-Diagnosis of different types of cancer in a person

– Cancers that occur in the placental organs, in both organs, for example, in both kidneys or both breasts

The occurrence of one type of cancer in several close blood relatives (e.g., breast cancer in the mother, sister or daughter)

– Occurrence of certain types of cancer in unusual cases (incidence of breast cancer in men)

-The presence of some congenital defects, such as some non-cancerous (benign) skin lesions or skeletal disorders that are associated with hereditary cancers.
